Santa Ana River Trail Regulations
This page is being developed. It will contain all the Santa Ana River Trail Regulations and Rules governing use of the trail in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Please read the signs posted on the Trail. These regulations and rules were established for everyone's safety. Please obey them.
No motorized scooter, motorcycles, gas powered bicycles, or electric bicycles are permitted on the Santa Ana River Trail.
Dogs must be kept on a six foot leash.




The Santa Ana River Trail spans over 120 miles through Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. The trail is one of the largest non-motorized social boulevards in the United States. It is utilized by school kids, workers, walkers, runners, bicyclists, horse riders, bird watchers and its parks and open spaces are social gathering places for kids, families and communities. Compliance to the posted regulations applies to all Santa Ana Trail users. If you see safety concerns, please report them on our Incident page.
